with my strict religous ass parents, i cant even dress up since the unfortunate reality of being scolded with such religous rhetoric and oml the fact that friday ill have to be forced to listen to the sermon of the religous scholars warning about me about this "pagan satanic practice";man fuck outta of here; i wanna be blade or mac from iasip with the duster or green man, or hell me being a steam punk gothic magestic purple clothing aesthetic 2000s with E Nomine in the background ![]()

That's rough, quite sad for you to be honest.
When I've gotten deep into religion myself at first when I got depression it kinda helped me for a bit but then as time goes by it absolutely messed up my Mental Health even badly.
Still kinda had some lingering effects but hopefully there's a way to get around it.
Especially I'm still somewhat depressed.

Wait if your parents are strictly religious. That mean you never celebrated last year right?
yep :( ,last time I I actually did dress up for Halloween was 2023, but now it’s gotten more difficult to do
