good morning all :] i'm currently running on a very small amount of sleep, because i was up late rewatching dead poets society last night. that's the third time now, eheh. i love that movie <3

speaking of movies, i've been thinking about into the wild recently. i adore that film, it's one of my favourites. my mother has been totally hounding me to watch it for ~2 years, and i finally did a few months ago, which i'm so grateful for because i really love it. my mom loves it too, she said it's one of her favourite movies. she has the book as well, perhaps i should read it...?the soundtrack is phenomenal as well. i'm not very familiar with eddie vedder, but my mom loves his work, especially the into the wild soundtrack. in fact, she has it downloaded on her itunes! it really is a great album. i don't usually think of soundtracks too much unless it's got songs i already know, but the entire album is original work by eddie vedder and it's just amazing. the final track, guaranteed, is the type of song that, with the proper context, can tear out your heart and then give you a hug. it's fantastic.anyway! i got all my chores done before noon today, which is lovely :] i usually end up sleeping in, so i don't have time to do much before my parents come home for their lunch break. but today i actually got up when they told me to, which i never do because waking up early is nightmarish for me, but it's okay haharight now, i'm chilling. my playlist of choice today is one called heading home, which i made mostly for evening drives home, but i listen to it even when i'm not out of the house. it's mostly comprised of chill songs, songs that aren't very high-energy. it's a good playlist i think :]i spent the early hours of my morning listening to gordon lightfoot before i got out of bed. he's got such a lovely voice. my mother gave me one of his albums, gord's gold, on cassette for christmas, i think it was last year ? or two years ago perhaps, in any case, i hadn't listened to it until recently, which is a shame because it's an incredible album. very nice indeed :]i suppose i've run out of things to say, so goodbye for now my friends!! thank you for reading <3
