hey guys

i know this is random but ive done some thinking. hear me out. today, about 23 minutes ago, i took a shower. but not just any shower, no no no, a cold one. if you now me well enough you know i HATE cold showers. but i decided, hey, if im gonna die soon, might as well check it out. it felt... good. while in that 10 minute shower of clarity, without the cutting, pills, message drafts perfectly worded to minimize damage crying i forced myself into. i thought, really hard. and i realized. all of the memories everyone else has forgotten about except me, all of the nights spent alone, would be gone in a few hours. and i thought even more, all of the acting career i spent days fantasizing about, would never happen. i think i may stay. thank you, guys. i love yall

I know it may seem that if you disappear from the world, nobody would remember you, nobody would care that you disappeared, but the fact is that many people will remember. Someone I knew from primary school passed away last year due to cancer. We were friends in kindergarten and the early primary school days, and we haven't talked in years. But when I attended her funeral, all the memories we had together, though little, came rushing back to me. If you think nobody would care, that is false. Because even those whom you had fleeting interactions with would. I had my own share of tough times last year, and I always considered the face that if I just disappeared, everything would be better. But I persevered on, and I'm much happier this year. If you ever feel like giving up, just know that things really do get better, it may take time. A long time, but I know it will. I hope that you feel better, and that in due time when you look back at this tough period you had, you can proudly say that you got through it :)

Yeah cold showers can really wake someone out their comfort zone like a shock.
