whoever is reading this right now, probably has summer holidays rn — just like me.
A lot of teens just tend to doomscroll the entire summer, with nothing else to do.
What if I tell you that my daily screen time is 3 hours and I am never bored?
The key is being bored.
When you’re actually bored and have nothing else to do and you can’t have your phone, you start thinking.
And that’s exactly what I did.
I found lots of new hobbies which make me forget that I even have a phone.
This is what a day in my life looks like:
- I wake up at approxiametly 10 am, start making my breakfast and watch regular TV till its 12 pm
- then I go in my room and check out my messages on the websites on my laptop
—> websites that I use daily: spacehey, friend rewind, the flap, kamtape
- after that, I often go outside, listening to music on mp3 or taking pictures with my camera
- I often buy (rock) magazines and read them when I come home
- after that, i spent some time with playing old video games on my older consoles and putting new music on my mp3 player
- when its 7 pm, I eat dinner and after that, I often go outside a bit (skating for example)
- to finish the day, I often watch a movie or TV show with longer episodes or read one of my Manga
This is exactly how I achieve, what I call, an absolute peak day.
Make sure to hang out with your friends a lot, multiple times a week at least.
If you want to know what to do with your friends instead of doomscrolling, read my next blog :)
