How to get back into Animal Crossing

I really like Animal Crossing and Iove the island decoration, I made the main area of my island flat so I can customize and terraform the entire thing, but the weird thing is that it feels like everytime I pick up my switch I just COMPLETELY LOSE MOTIVATION, idkk just the thought of terraforming makes me lose all motivation

Does anyone who went through the same thing has some tip or smth to help with that feeling? It's like all my energy is sucked up the moment I touch my Switch

But I want to play it though!!

Some tips I think it might help on:

The flat world makes your brain get already lose the motivation, because of flat and empty and big world. Instead of that, try to put some imperfections to it, like some small mountains, rivers and others.

Other tip is to build separately, you can choose an specific area to build what you want, that way you will focus only on the little things and start filling your world by doing this.
