Blood may be that which ties us to this world, for upon the spilling of his life's blood shall a man find himself moving to the next. Why then, if a soul may naturally move from one reality into a higher one by the shedding of his blood, should we be surprised to learn such shedding may draw the gaze of that higher reality? We might therefore conclude it is simply the act of taking life, not any passage of our souls, that brings these worlds together.
β¦In doing so, we might form our own gates between this world and the other and, in so doing, perchance move through them while we yet live. O What wisdom we might glean from the worlds of the ancients, what knowledge might be but a sacrifice away.Β
How to return is another matterβ¦

Augustine Lieber's notes are so eerie, love this
It's fascinating, isn't it? Her theories of life and death and her studies on The Entity were so on point. And in the end, her hubris, greed, and entitlement were her downfall. A lesson to be learned, really.
