I am Bisexual and I wanna talk about something that pisses me THE FUCK OFF.

Being bisexual puts you in this weird limbo where you’re technically “in the community,” but somehow treated like you’re standing outside the door. You’re told you belong...but the second you don’t fit the expected vibe, suddenly you’re “not really queer,” or “not oppressed enough."

And I’m done pretending that doesn’t piss me off.

I don’t relate to the mainstream LGBTQ+ culture. Not the aesthetics, not the group identity, not the pressure to perform a personality so strangers can decide whether I “count.” I’m not here to audition for acceptance. I’m not here to prove my sexuality like it’s a damn science fair project. I’m not here to adopt a culture I don’t connect with just to avoid being shoved into the “basically straight” box.

The same people who scream the loudest about acceptance and inclusivity will turn around and treat bi people like we’re a footnote. Like we’re a side category. Like we’re only allowed in the room if we sit quietly and don’t disrupt the narrative they built around what “real queer culture” looks like.

I’ve heard every dismissive line imaginable
“Pick a side.”

“You’re straight unless you’re dating your own gender.”

“Bi people don’t get the real struggle.”

“You’re privileged.”

It’s wild how fast “everyone is welcome” becomes “except you, because you don’t fit the mold we prefer.”

Let me make something clear I love people. Male & Female If you’re a good human with a good heart, I don’t care what you were born as or what you identify as. I care about your personality, your energy, your character. That’s what attracts me. That’s what matters to me. That’s what makes me connect with someone.

And yet somehow, that gets treated like it’s less valid.

I’m bisexual. That’s it. Not gay. Not straight. Not confused. Not switching teams depending on who’s watching. Not performing. Not trying to fit into a box someone else built. I exist in the middle....and that middle is real, valid, and not beneath anyone.

The hypocrisy is what pisses me off the most. People will preach about unity while pushing bi folks to the edge. They’ll claim to fight stereotypes while throwing the same tired ones at us.

Being bi shouldn’t mean constantly defending your identity. It shouldn’t mean proving you belong. It shouldn’t mean being treated like a guest in a space you’re supposedly part of.

SOOOO FUCK THOSE WHO DO THIS SHIT 🖕🏼 the end.
