Lately I've been diving deeper into my studies of demonology as part of my path as a Satanist.
For me, this isn't about Hollywood horror or trying to shock people. It's about learning. Demonology, mythology, occult history, and ancient texts all tell stories about how different cultures understood power, rebellion, fear, and the unknown. The symbolism is honestly fascinating.
A lot of people hear the word "Satanist" and instantly assume they know everything about me. They don't. My beliefs are personal, and my studies are about expanding my understandingโnot living up to stereotypes.
The more I read, the more I realize how much history has been shaped by perspective. Every old grimoire, every legend, every name has a story behind it. Whether you see them as mythology, religious tradition, or symbols of human nature, there's always something worth learning.
I don't expect everyone to agree with my path, and that's okay. Respect goes both ways. I'd rather have an honest conversation than an argument built on assumptions.
Anyway... that's enough philosophy for tonight.
Time to light a candle, put on some music, and get back to my books.
Leave a comment if you're into the occult, mythology, comparative religion, or obscure history. I'd love to hear what you're studying.
Stay curious.
