STORY TIME
bro today i went to my local walmart cause my brother wanted a xbox gamepass giftcard (because we both dont have credit cards)
and i decided "yo let's check if they got any pokemon cards lololol" so we found the card section, which was literally right next to the gamepass section!!!
...bro what the actual fuck. some middle aged women were kinda like puppy-guarding the cards like some security job they got hired too. so i told my brother, "yo i think i found them!" and the fucking audacity these women bro... "uh we're gonna be here for a while so you can just leave and wait around the corner overrrr.. there!"
so i was like "oh okay!" and me and my brother left. BUUUTT my brother FORGOT his fucking gamepass so we went back. when we went back, im pretty sure those two same women were telling people to LINE UP IN THE SECTION BESIDE THE CARD SECTION. (which wasn't the gamepass section happy happy)
honey... these cards were like originally made for kids?
anyways im going to a card show anyways on august 8!!! :)

this is so real , i used to collect pokemon cards like a few months ago and one time i was getting like a pack from the pokemon vending machines cuz they had some at my local kroger and right when i got it, a worker came up to me and said “oh was that the last one” (the workers there are known to scalp cards when they reload) and i was like “yea sorry dude” so i go home and open it AND I LITERALLY GOT A SUPER VALUABLE CARD (i didn’t sell it dw its in a binder somehwere rn)

Funkin based! I hate when things like this happen, it takes the fun out of it for everyone. And then the audacity to take the joy of collecting something as simple as collecting cool cards from kids just to sell them for hundreds or even thousands of dollars because it's classified as "rare". I get if it's one of the first cards ever made and isn't produced anymore, but for a card that is still on the market and is still fairly simple to obtain is just stupid. I feel like they should make scalper rage boxes where every single pack of cards is just the same common card so if a scalper buys one they just get scammed.
Srry for the long rant, scalpers just piss me the funk off.
