i hate dress codes

i hate having a dress code at work. i wish that i could just chop my hair up and dye it whenever i want without the worry of repercussions or pissing off my boss. why can't i be bright orange?? or pink?? i'm a grown adult... this is what getting older was for. i actually feel like there are more restrictions regarding my appearance now than there was when i was teen. my mom really just let me do whatever now that i think about it. idk, i feel so suffocated in my work clothes. i love my job tho which is the hard part. pls just let me dye hair bright red. i keep longingly looking at pictures of hayley williams in the decode music video on the clock.  if you are in your career and still have cool hair pls know that i am so jealous of you that i am green!
