I hate election season

While I'm not old enough to get texts from politicians, I don't have an ad-block on my iPad and I keep getting spammed with political ads and I absolutely despise them. I don't care about where James Talarico was, I just want to watch my stupid Minecraft videos. It also means people are putting up those signs saying who they're voting for. This doesn't bother me as much, but there's a house near where i live that has a skeleton outside that they keep dressing up for different events (for example, they give him a backpack and kids clothes for Back to School) and they have a giant Talarico sign outside and, a few weeks ago when my dad was picking me up from my dance class, he started calling those people "stupid" and "foolish" (or maybe it was "scumbags," he goes back and forth between the two) before I was even able to point out the skeleton's new outfit. I know that, in the grand scheme, that's not a big deal, but it just made me hate election season that much more. I also have classmates talking about how they would vote for Paxton if they could vote (that entire co-op is a mess) which doesn't make me feel any better about being queer there.

 and the ads themselves are just petty. Especially the one that just calls Talarico "weird." it's so fucking childish. 

I can't wait for elections to be over. And I hope my parents don't get too upset when Talarico wins (If i think about it for too long, I'll just start scaring myself)
