I hate my English class so much.

Ever since I started sophomore year I hated English. Like, last year, my teacher was so chill and fun. She bought us energy drinks and sodas, candy, and even let me make a movie for one of my projects. I passed her class easily. I don't know what happened but since sophomore year started, my grades have been horrible. Specifically, English. Now I'm sorry, but I don't mind teachers that yap a crap ton. It's chill honestly. But when they yap a lot about something completely irrelevant to what we're doing is just annoying. I have a 6 week project for English about a book we get to choose unless she approves (which is stupid imo) and I'm doing my project on Project Hail Mary (because I'm a nerd). Now I don't mind the project, I just hate turning it in at the end of every week and being stressed on getting every little detail right. Not only that but she's talking about having us write an essay about a completely different book. As I'm writing this, she wants us to write a page of a book. I understand that English is going to have a lot of writing, but assigning us multiple assignments with completely different things. Just last night after I finished catching up on writing fics I started crying because of how stressed I was. Anyways, how was y'all's week.
