okay I know current times suck with this Brainrot and annoying people but these people who say "i wish it was still the 2000s because no one is cool anymore" sucks because instead of actually trying to enjoy yourself you talk about a year you were not even alive in or barely alive in. they are the reason that the 2020s are so bad they are so unbearable to hangout with and i know not everyone like this is bad because I used to do this but i actually tried to change it i stopped using TikTok and Roblox and stuff like that and i am trying to get friends who also do this so I can go out with them and hangout and do fun stuff like go to the mall or park. we all need to have fun okay!? PLEASEE! also yall should tell me how u feel cuz i like reading comments :)

I loved the 2000s but I wouldn't wanna go back at all. What I DO want is to make better version, or "neo2k" in the present. I think people miss the point when they say they wanna go back, especially when they can just as easily foster the same things that made that time so great for us in the present.
You also have to remember that the 2000s and early 2010s were the last "good" aesthetic eras. Some of it is just people wanting to default back to something better because what we have now is so boring and hostile.

I used to be like that tbh, i wished i was born in the 90s to live through the 00s, but then i changed my life up! i got some good friends with similar interests, quit majority of main social media and played indie games or physical media, and went outside to build a fort, and life has gotten a lot better!
