I Have A long One Here! (I'M BACK)

Hey Blog,

It's been a while, right? I'm so glad to be back online with you all where I belong :D  its been a busy time away (almost a whole month whoops) since my last post, a lot has happened since. ill get the big stuff out the way first then i can go into more details later (feel free to ask any Qs in the comments).

I MOVED HOUSE! I found a place to stay with my friends after all this time in the east side of the city and it is literally perfect!! I live here with my three friends and we all get on so well! it took a few days to get properly settled in but after about a week of living here it's all running smoothly!

It was a little difficult leaving my old place behind, I had a good collection of memories that I had made in the last year of living there but I'm so happy with the new place I'm at!

Living with my friends is so much fun, guys... you don't even understand. I get to walk into the kitchen and my best friends are just there every day. We're all musicians here so we often play our instruments with each other and show each other what music we've been listening to (I'm slowly turning one of my friends into a fan of post hardcore/metalcore like Poison the Well, Alexisonfire and Silverstien). On our first night together we went to a local greek food place and its become a staple of my diet at this point. sometimes my room, the living room or the kitchen can get kinda messy but we're all responsible enough to tidy it up, which was actually my main worry of living alone in a house with 4 teenagers. glad to see i was wrong.

On a separate note, my favourite modern band came to my city so I was able to see them live, it was Drug Church and they played at the Electric Ballroom, which is a venue i've been to a couple of times. The pit was so much fun and I lost track of how many times I crowdsurfed that night lol. My glasses managed to stay on my face until the first note of the last song where they got immediately decimated under the feet of hundreds of people jumping and shoving each other around. it was hot and SWEATY in there. But I say it was all WORTH IT! I'll show a quick before and after of what I looked like that night as well as a blurry ass photo I managed to snap.

The last thing I want to talk about is my work, I did sound for a folk band that was hosting a show for their ep release. we got a really good turnout that night and a few members of the audience came up to me throughout the night to say that I was doing a good job. one guy even shared his socials with me and asked if i could do sound for his band once they start to do shows in November! I got a video of them playing, if you guys want to see I'll post a video of it here!!

Thats pretty much all the things i wanted to mention that happened recently. I start my second year of university tomorrow, im not really excited for the lectures but I am excited to see all my friends again. have the opportunity to hang out, learn new things, go to the pub and get a functioning sleep schedule back. It's my birthday at the end of the week so my housemates and I are going to host a house party to celebrate it as well as having it be a housewarming and homecoming type of meeting, so a proper three in one event i hope goes late into the night! If it goes well then we'll treat it like a trial run for Halloween, when we might host ANOTHER!

All the stuff with my bands are going well, I'm almost fully booked until December doing shows, work, uni, parties and all around life; but I wouldn't want it any other way. I'll be posting as often as I can again on here, I love you all!
