I made a cool quote :)

"A face of solace — now a face of disquiet. A thought that once gave peace leaves a pain in my chest — pain worsened with the absence of a face.” - Me

This quote is from a story I'm making. Sometime when writing, you write things that just hit, and I feel like this is one of the best quotes from one of my stories.

Some context before I fully explain the quote. In the climax of this story narrator just saw the face of their dead spouse at the library while checking out a book. Obviously it was not actually them, just someone that looked like them. Due to their resemblance, the narrator's brain did the rest. 

Now, diving into the actual quote. In the beginning part, the narrator is saying seeing their spouse's face gives them discomfort and makes them feel depressed. Even just a thought — a thought that was once calming, now gives the narrator a pain that gets worse when the thought leaves — when they leave.

I love writing if it wasn't already obvious. Its a hobby that lets me pour out all of my emotion in words. I try not to curse in my stories because I feel like cursing in stories is a cheating way to convey intense emotion. I don't have a problem with people that use this path. I just personally decide against it. Ok bye.
