For the past couple of months now I've been making a few comics here and there of my OCs, and just a couple of weeks ago I started thinking, "What if I got into publishing stories."
I have some ideas for one-shots that I rlly want to draw out, and I literally just learnt yesterday that anyone can publish a story no matter what age.
Tho I feel like my biggest issue is how time consuming it'd be. Don't get me wrong I understand that art takes a lot of time, and I would love to get into this whole thing and possibly publish my first story before I graduate highschool next year. But with my last school year, along with me getting a job eventually, how much time would I really have to work on this if I wanted to do it? If that makes sense 😭
I looked up how long it usually takes to make abt a 40-60 page one-shot and it can take up to a couple of months to a year depending on how many ppl are working with you (to which in my case I'd just be working on it by myself..)
The other thing that would suck is if I end up spending so much time just for it to barely get any traction.
I don't mean to be negative abt the idea, it is smth I think abt a lot and I would love to pursue it into a career one day if it actually works out, but I'm still not all too sure abt it.
Literally just trying to figure out what I want to do with my life going forward urghhh 💔
