Hey Guys,
In a timeline not so distant to this one I think I would’ve became a goth. If I discovered the cure before I discovered deftones I probably would’ve chosen goth over metal, I found deftones around the time gore released and have continued to love them for the past decade of my life, they got me into metal and eventually I sprung off and delved deeper and deeper into all its different subgenres. But if I found the cure even a month earlier I think I would’ve chosen goth by the time I made it to my teenage years rather than white trash skater metalhead whatever the fuck I ended up as. Nowadays I probably would never go goth just because of how it conflicts with my day to day. None of this is a bad thing don’t get me wrong, I love the person I became, I just find this to be an interesting hypothetical to think about
Moral of the story: having cool uncles to show you cool music drastically changes your life. But however you end up isn’t always bad, mostly just different

You could be a goth metalhead too! Tease the top of that hair and toss on some dark eye makeup and you're the best of both worlds!
Of course, it doesn't have to be an every day commitment either, but it might be cool for you to try it out and just see what it looks like if you have some free time.
