I think I’ve figured out why people love nonchalant people

I seem to find people who are more defined in who they are, tend to fit less into crowds. that’s not because they have nothing to offer it’s because people can’t paste their ideology’s onto them. They aren’t moldable. 

However “nonchalant” people don’t give much of their self’s off so there’s not an awful lot to dislike, perhaps their cold outer shell is the only thing you can really go off of. 

Some take this in different ways. Some may perceive it as mystery and depth, too much to say so they would rather say nothing at all. some perceive it as arrogance, too above everyone else to engage in ice breakers and petty human things like music and dance. 

But actually there’s no end to how this could be perceived, in fact funnily enough nonchalantness is the blankest slate to form an opinion off of. You can see a nonchalant person however you see fit, fanaticise about who or what is behind the silence.

And this doesn’t just apply to quote unquote “nonchalant” people, it can pretty much apply to any person who doesn’t say all that much, or any person who says just enough but not too much to the point where they are forming a solid opinion or trait. The vagueness of a person is what makes them likeable.

When you think of it like that, “cool” people just become vague and “weird” people just become defined.

And my GOD I love defined people
