I really want to get a cool hair dye, I've been leaning more towards purple but if i have to dye it natural colors thats fine too. The issue is my mom wont let me cuz it will "ruin" my hair (Im brunette so i would have to bleach it) but I dont really care. Besides if I stick with the same color I wont need to re-bleach and even then I would have to do so frequently or a lot for my hair to be completely ruined. It may br stupid but I really hate my hair the way it is, its so basic and boring. I would much rather have something different, instead of the same boring hair so many people have. Like dont get me wrong brunette is pretty as hell, just not on me.Β

If you want a bright colour I would recommend bleaching it, but maybe you can negotiate with your mom and do a slightly darker colour so you wouldn't need bleach so she'd be happy, and you'd get fun hair so you'd be happy. This all depends on the colour and how dark your hair is though, if it's a lighter brunette it would show up well, but for a darker brown it would be more of a tint you can only see in certain light. And bleaching isn't all that damaging if you take care of it and don't do it too often. Good luck, I hope you get the hair you want!
