soooo ive been kind of pestering my mum about wanting to go to ikea but its like ages away from us so ive not been too bothered about not going but we planned a day out for me, her n my brother to drive around our city and (first and foremost) go to ikea!!!!
we was driving up and then we started to get closer and i saw the sign... magical...... my brother was being all "its just a storreee" but come on let me have dis!!!! it was like soo big we parked and i got out and looked up BIIGG not as big as i lowkey expected doe
now of course the moment we got in there me n brother were just like. where r the toys. we looked around the first floor for a bit and then promptly almost got lost and trapped (the ikea special ofc) until we found our way to the upstairs area and it was opened to us... everything.... the cafeteria. BEAUTIFUL i was in awe it was real
instantly i saw abunca safari animal plushes and i KNEW where we needed to go and there was djungelskog anndd blahaj annddd skogsduva (which i took home!!) and a tonnn of otha little guysss1!! no big aftonsparv only tiny ones :( but they were cute toooo :3 they had a ton of the pandas like EVERYWHERE like idk if theyre popular or they just got too much stock but damn
we went upstairs and looked at all the showrooms which was lowkey crazy cus i wasnt sure what to expect but they were like GOODD they had fake food and like laptop screens and everything they had this fake dead fish honestly #love but my mum was getting tired and lowkey didnt gaf she just liked to see me get excited over a funiture store 😭
we eventually made it back around and checked out our stuff (my bee i named sebee and my brothers big djungelskog), got a snack from the cafeteria and then left to go to our next location!!!
a massiivee thrift opened up around the area we were in so we went to go thereee and let me tell u. i had the best time. it was very big so my mum was like "okay we all go around the perimeter so we dont lose eachother" which didnt last long because i went off to look at jewellery and shirts n stuff LOL
when i tell u this place was a blessing.... ohmg...... first i found these really pretty earrings and then im looking through the mens shirts and i found a goddamn williams f1 shirt. i didnt even look at the price it ended up being 11 dollars which for official f1 merch is GOODDD so i was well delighted about that!!!
after that i had a little look in skirts n womens shirts until i made my way to the books and cd section.. now im always looking in the book section nowadays for anything f1 because it is much more likely ill find an f1 book than a book about fob or mcr 😭 what i did not expect. was finding a dan and phil book. I WAS SHOOKETHH i grabbed ts SOO fast nyeheheh when i had a look at cds i found twooo simple plan cds but i had one already so i got "still not getting any..."!!!!
eventually my mum and brother found me again scowering the sport and music section and were like "right u done??" and i was like hmmm gimme a minute and we had another look around the books and while looking in the young readers section i found the first warriors book!!! im not the #1 warriors fan but i did read the first one and it was tuff asf, they also had the 3rd book but not the 2nd and iirc i havent read the 2nd one so i didnt get it :( they had also like. almost all of percy jackson except the first book and i havent read any of them so i didnt get any of those either 💔 but its okay
for the rest of the day we just drove around 4 a bit looked at some old places and then got red rooster (my first time!!) n went homeeee which ended up being much later than my mum expected it to be like it was dark but it was really fun!!!!
