today i had a presentation for my art history class and i totally bombed it. why? well, i had the wonderful idea earlier that day to chug an entire monster energy drink shortly before that specific class because i was curious, sue me.
unfortunately, i do not drink caffeine regularly (read: never) like most college students and as a result have a very low tolerance for them. i had drank this one today because i was wondering what it'd taste/smell/make me feel like afterwards.
by the time my presentation began, i was completely spazzed out on way too much caffeine and was shaking like a fucking leaf. i hid myself behind the professor's desk so my classmates wouldn't see how bad my tremors were.
i seriously could not stop trembling all over and was so erratic that i couldn't put any sentences together nor could i remember anything worthwhile from what i'd researched for my presentation. so obviously i bombed the whole damn thing.
TLDR: do NOT drink caffeine right before public speaking in front of your entire class. learn from my mistakes, people.

Hm, that's rough but hopefully you somehow delivered the presentation or if not then hopefully you could have another take since it seems you had a reasonable reason why.
I don't know, but I think it depends on the person because for me..... I really had no problems drinking coffee and actually I really like drinking coffee.
But yeah, anyways I hope you're having a good week so far.
