I would do it again (mom edition)

I would do it again; I would do it in a heartbeat, no second thoughts, no doubt. If I were faced with the option to go back, I would, and I would remind myself that what I'm doing is the right thing and tell that scared, unsure little girl she is doing the right thing.I would tell her to breathe and do it because she is right and she knows it deep in her bones, and that is all she needs, so yes, you ask me if I would leave if I had the option to go back, and yes, yes, I would do it. I would leave and not look back. I wouldn't fight for Mom's approval on the matter. I wouldn't ask myself who would be there to bring her back from her OD; I would just go. I would leave.
