Wendy Hernandez Reyes came to U.S. from the Honduras in 2022, seeking asylum from domestic abuse. She was pulled over on her way to work in Alabama in January and detained by ICE. According to court records, she had begged ICE repeatedly to deport her with Orlín, her two year old son. Instead, the toddler was put in the custody of her sister’s estranged partner, Samuel Maldonado, on January 26th. Police say Samuel drank heavily and whipped his children with a WIRE.
A few weeks later, Orlín was found dead. He had multiple broken ribs and burns, a transfected pancreas, and evidence of possible sexual abuse. Samuel was charged with his murder.
ICE’s response was a press release stating that Wendy had left her son and chose him to stay with a violent murderer.
A LIE!
Wendy had no prior criminal record, despite this administration stating that they’d go for the “worst of the worst.” More than 100,000 children have been separated from their families during Trump’s crackdown. More than half of mothers separated from their children have no criminal record.
This will keep happening unless we do something about it. No accountability, no body cameras, no CONSEQUENCES.
Stand up for what’s right.

No reason for someone to be torturing KIDS because of their ethnicity, something's actually really wrong with white rasicts thinking going around and kidnapping people for being a different race in a country that was BUILT OFF OF DIFFERENT CULTURES is the right thing to do for their country. This is why the suicide rate is rising I SWEAR
