AUGHHHHHH IM SO HAPPY WE HAVE A START DATE NOVEMBER 2ND OMGOMGOMGOMG, so we just got home from the meeting. We have to get me uniforms duh, but the books will be provided, very nice very nice. I'm gonna be doing Math, English, Irish, Religion, History, German, Art, and Home Economics, and maybe another one, I'm pretty sure I remember the guy saying there's nine classes, but idk. If there is a ninth it's probably a mandatory one so I have no choice in it anyway.
The first four I said are mandatory, Irish is gonna such butts, and I couldn't care less about religion, idk why its a mandatory subject. And I chose the latter four, I picked ones I already kinda knew so I wouldn't be too behind. And I like art, so yay. In the next three ish weeks I'm gonna brush up on my Irish, because I haven't done it in like 3 years. I'm so happy to finally move forward with this, I think it's really gonna do good for me. Parents are gonna fill out the application thingy eventual and then I'll bring it down to the school sometime this week or next and I'll get the uniforms on the way.
I just looked up the prices, this is ridiculous, €60 for a skirt? So erm, gonna get the pants cuz they're €35, and I don't own grey socks or black shoes, but that's the uniform, so gotta get those too, hurray. At least maybe I can get the shoes from the thrift store so we don't have to pay full price for that. Oh, and the tie, can't forget that. And thank goodness we don't need to buy the books. Also, why is the unisex shirts half the price of the gendered ones? And the prices change by size, of course, why wouldn't it. The prices might be different in person from online, but either way it's ridiculous.
My happiness for this is drowning the guilt for parents having to spend so much on uniform tho. And I'm not in charge of the prices, so it's not my fault. Overall, super happy with how the meeting went, can't wait to go to school! ![]()
