I’m making a book( or at least trying)

I am currently in the process of developing a long‑form narrative written from a first person perspective. The project draws stylistic and atmospheric inspiration from Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre released in 1974. Although these influences come from earlier decades, the book itself will be set entirely in the 1980s, reflecting the culture, aesthetics, and environment of that era. At this stage, I am focused on shaping the tone, researching the decade, and establishing the overall direction of the story. As the project develops, I plan to share updates on my progress and any major steps in the writing process. Because I am balancing school, studying, homework, and personal responsibilities, writing a book is a challenging undertaking. For that reason, I am looking for individuals who can support me throughout the process. My goal is to approach this project thoughtfully, without rushing or allowing it to become overwhelming, so I can create something meaningful while maintaining a healthy balance with my academic life.
