I feel you, I think most people here also feel that way. I hope that life will be better for us when we can finally leave school.

Generally  when you are a teenager, most people are miserable. Due to trauma, hormones, raging emotions from hormones, drama, and general life events that lead to more emotion; most teenagers end up miserable. Of course, not everyone who is a teenager is miserable, a lot of teenagers are actually quite happy and live lives full of happiness. I will also make a side note that a lot of teenagers go through a variety of mental health disorders that go untreated, which can lead to emotional and troubled teenage years.

People do get better as they age, their hormones become stable, their mental health becomes stable, their lives become steady, and with a more mentally mature brain they are able to process trauma is more constructive and positive way. A lot of people seek therapy in their adult years which helps tremendously with handling any trauma or drama that may be going on.

It is important to consider who you have around you. Not everyone who is a teenager is miserable and there are people who are already in a stable place. If you are surrounded by people who are miserable, it may be important to consider who you are friends with and if that is impacting you. Them being miserable doesn't make them bad people, they just may not be your type of people to be around. It sounds to me like being around people who are miserable is not positive for your mental health, so it may be time to find new friends who have a more positive outlook on life.

That being said, please do not let people dim your sparkle. Do not let them make you miserable or sad. Continue to be silly and fun, because it is so important to have fun in life. Having fun is life and being a silly person makes the world a much more positive place. Do not let them take that away from you.

Wishing you all the best!
