My insomnia is pissing me off.
I have insomnia and with insomnia comes other annoying things, like restless leg syndrome. Any time I finally get comfortable my legs suddenly feel really wrong and they need to move. This also happens when I'm not comfortable, it just wants to torture me.
I can't get into a comfortable position either, every position hurts my back or my chest or my head or is just really uncomfortable. I've had this bed for 14 years of my life and these past 6 years I've been having major issues with it.
I love sleep, which is why it's so weird that I've had insomnia since I could read. Reading is WHY I have insomnia, I was so addicted to books that I would stay up until 2 in the morning reading at the age of 6 btw. Good thing I don't read as much now, I would probably sleep less than I do now.
It's 12 right now, in the morning.
I can't sleep no matter how hard I try. I've been trying since 10.
I'm so tired that I can't even close my eyes to sleep, only to blink and even then it hurts a little to blink. Why is that even a side effect of insomnia? How does one get so tired they can't sleep?
And oh my gods don't get me STARTED on the hallucinations. Most of them are just white flashes at the corners of my eyes, but then there's the seeing things move that aren't moving. I have a problem with spiders, I have a bad phobia of them, and I was just watching a black dot on my ceiling move, I swear it was moving, and then I blinked and it went back to where it was. I swear it moved an entire foot dude. And then there's the auditory hallucinations... Imagine trying to sleep and you hear someone telling you their back itches, 0/10 l, tell me sum interesting.
Oh and there's the random paranoia, I don't get it often but tonight I am. Honestly pissing me off, nothing is happening so why are we so scared?? What am I even scared of, nothing happens where I live.
Sorry for such a long rant, I just really can't sleep.

the white flashes at the eye corners are relatable, i also hate it when im about to fall asleep soundly but then my bladder says no and slaps my face out of drowsiness
