Hello friends of friendrewind!! 

I'm annajoy:) I thought I'd make a little blog that goes more into detail than my profile! 

I am a cosmetology student, as of right now me writing this I just finished my first semester. I want to specialize in fun cuts, vivid coloring, and waxing, but also I really enjoy with curl hair styling. It's really enjoyable I'm so glad I can make people feel more better about themselves and confident. And I also love cutting my hair and doing makeup looks. 

Even though I'm in cosmo my main passion is music. In the salon by day, gigs at night lol. I absolutely love playing my electric guitar, it makes me feel so free. Yes I am Frank Iero in disguise because when I play I thrash around the room. I'm in two bands, which both are in progress of making music. One of more of an pop punk/alt pop and the other is more of an alterative rock, heavier shoegaze mix, idk what to call us we're very experimental with gernes right now. Whenever we end up releasing anything, I'll share it with you guys! (which should hopefully be sometime this year) On top of that I enjoy playing metal in my own time, although I need to get better at it. And I'm learning how to scream as well, but thats a big work in progress. Continuing on with making things I do lots of DIYs, sewing and drawing. I like making my own clothes and upcycling, its so fun making new things. Sadly I don't draw as much because of school, but I still do from time to time. It's usually either band art, my ocs or my sona, who is a raccoon shes awesome. MY OCSSS!!! They do have bits and pieces of lore, but mainly they're a bunch of friends that are in a band. They might be turned into a comic book series, but that'll definitely be down the line. I also have an alien cat guy and frog oc, who is my oldest oc! I've had her since I was very young and I've still held onto her.. maybe I should make my own blog post her hm.  

I ADORE MUSIC! Life is so hard sometimes and I find it hard a lot of times to put my feelings into words, so it really helps me with that. My taste is here and there, I especially like a lot of darkwave, metalcore, good ol 2000s emo, screamo, crabcore, a bunch of stuff honestly. And also I love talking about music! Specially my favorite bands and their lore. Something I really need to do more is go to local shows and grow in the local scene, I've just had a hard time trying to find some shows. 

Something also important, I am a follower of Jesus. My faith is very dear to me and a big part of my life. It's gotten me through a lot in life. Although there is some people in the faith that I do disagree with that i think definitely shed a bad image of it, I am not right wing because of so, fyi. You don't have to be in the same faith as me to be friends or anything, as long as you don't take a jab at the faith, I'm chill with you! :3 I won't mega post about it but it may be mentioned a bit. 

Alternative subcultures and the history behind it is something I'm also very interested in, I consider myself a goth with a metalhead bat flying in my brain. The origin is so interesting to me and I love the diy culture of it all and the statement. A pasttime of mine is watching old interviews and myspace videos. Thats why im also so thrilled this sight exists. I also like collecting weird things, I have a raccoon skull and a dead lunar moth whom I love a lot. SPLATOON!!!!! i adore splatoon and the silly little guys although even though the game makes me rage sometimes. (DONT talk to me about the aerosprays.) (got in a round a couple times with ALL four of the other team having them, sigh) the squid sisters are my goats I love the splatoon music too I forgot to mention that up above. 

Oh and one more thing, if you are just a friend collector, please do not friend me. I came on here to share with friends and talk with people. I love chattin with people so feel free to reach out.
