I dunno if any of you have watched the video of the vlogger who tried to ask strangers to have dinner with them. I understand how risky it is to invite a stranger however, my husband and I would say yes in a heartbeat! We let a stranger and a homeless guy stay the night in our apartment two years ago. We treated him as our guest. We offered him food, clothes and I gave him the first blanket my hubby bought for me when I got here in America and it was my fave but he needed it the most. It was the only thick blanket that we could spare.
Inviting homeless people to eat with us at home is normal for us.

This is very sweet of you!! Sorry new profile here but it's nice to see this happen in the wild and not just for clicks. I just wanted to give a personal thanks as someone whos often at risk of being homeless with quite a very recent Scare, and had been for years skirting by every now and then in hotels or a vehicle. Even when we had a small car it was often a massive health risk both in diet, mind, and so on.
Brief as it is, short rests like these matter a lot. Especially knowing people like this, willing to help despite it all, aren't so far from us. Safety matters of course, but sometimes we really are just people stuck in a bad spot—often due to things we never chose. Wishing you the best!

That's amazing, and I applaud you guys for that.
But I hope you guys are gonna be careful on who you pick and I hope you guys are not gonna end up pick a bad one.
I wish you guys all the best for this year and for the years to come. :)
Cheers.
