is this favouritism?

hey everyone, im back!! i was on a vacation for the past 2 weeks (i'll write ab it later) so i couldnt post but now here we are

so today i was thinking about family stuff, everyone's future jobs and stuff, and i kinda realized that there may be a little favouritism going on. i want to be a model (idk what kind exactly yet, all of them seem exciting for me), but not everyone in my family supports that, they say things like "you need to choose a more stable carreer", "you'll grow out of the job" or "that's not a real job". mind you, i don't even wanna be a world-known, famous supermodel, i just wanna model because it's the thing i wanna do.

my cousin in the other hand, like 10-11 yrs old, wants to be a world-known football player. they don't tell him that it's unrealistic, or that it's hard to get into that carreer, or that it's not always stable. if y'all could tell me all that, i think he's ready too, idc

i know it sounds like i think the world is against me but that's a me-problem ig, i just wanted to share my thoughts
