its 4am and im STILL angry

hngggg okay im really tired so im gonna type this quick.

basically in my stupid ass geography class with stupid ass people (i have like no friends in that class and never will because they all either suck, are maga, or just annoying and slow.)

we had to do this lil circle discussion about conflict between other countries outside the US, yaknow? i didnt say shit because 1. it wasnt for a grade 2. i fucking hate everyone at that table and 3. idk i just dont like talking or conforming.

there was a question we had to answer on which conflict had the most impact on the US. unanimously it was Israel/Palestine. idk this just bothered me, maybe im overreacting(?), but this girl *POPULAR GIRL***!!!!!!!!! starts going off about how teens on social media can start 'reposting and spreading awareness about what palestine is going thru' oh yeah because thatll help a LOT. the suburb i live in is mostly made up of white ppl, some are maga some are not who gives a shit, but like.. what im trynna say is these kids are like RICH. my family isnt very wealthy tbh, hasnt been probably never will be, but just take a second to think--- ok im scrolling on my ticky tock and OH NO another thousand dead at palestine... will i donate money (because thats totally the most important thing they need right now) ...ehhh... i donate some other time.

to me this is a little bit of common knowledge, at least thru my eyes because i can be a little nihilist cynical sonuvabitch sometimes. but its so obvious. literally no one cares (especially these lil white suburb rich folks) BECAUSE IT DOESNT AFFECT THEM.

they can celebrate their independence day and wave their Blue Lives Matter flag (literally just a united states flag that is blue and black. made to support COPS. i hate these flags so much you will not believe how many i see on a daily basis). they can do all that because THE US HAS NEVER HURT THEM !!!!

ok sorry ladies and gents i digressed from the topic. anyway, these popular chicks talking about ohmigosh we needa help palestine more and send money and troops blahblah

so, the discussion ends and like this teacher assistant guy we have in our class comes around to our table and asks uhh idk, he just asked what country we said and how the US could support that country.

the girl repeats what she just said and he says "true but, the US is aiding israel so how will that work?" and im like in my head "yeah everyone fkin knows that boi."

I KID YOU NOT THESE TWO GIRLS LOOK AT EACH OTHER PUT ON THE MOST WHINIEST STUPIDEST VOICE EVER AND ARE LIKE

i just hate out of touch people so much like jesus christ. this affects ALL OF US and u dont even know???
