JANE♡ -July 28th, 2004(rp)

Dear blog,

I've been thinking about Jane a lot today.

It's funny how one person can completely change the mood of a day without even realizing it.

Some people walk into a room and everything feels lighter.

Some people make you laugh when you didn't think you were going to.

Some people just make life a little more interesting.

Jane is one of those people.

I don't know if she realizes it, but she has a way of making ordinary days feel less ordinary. Even when things are frustrating or boring, there's usually something she says or does that sticks with me afterward.

Maybe that's why I'm writing this.

Not because today was some huge adventure.

Just because sometimes it's nice to appreciate the people who make the day a little easier to get through.

Life moves pretty fast.

People come and go.

But I hope the good moments are the ones we remember.

So here's to Jane.

Maybe she'll never read this.

Maybe she will.

Either way, I wanted to write it down before the feeling disappeared.

Sometimes the smallest moments end up meaning the most.
