at my big age (17) I have a job. I am EMPLOYED!!!!!! I GET A PAYCHECK (eventually). 

I think in this day and age being unemployed is seen as a joke and is generally frowned upon. now that I'm working I highkey do agree with this. if you are physically and mentally able to hold down a job, YOU SHOULD! even if you're just working part time like I am, it's been a lot better for me physically and mentally to start working instead of bumming around all summer.

the job market does suck ass rn though especially if you're a teen with zero experience (like me!) the BEST thing that you can do is apply EVERYWHERE. get an indeed account or something and apply to everywhere you might be remotely interested in. by some luck I managed to get a cute retail job with ZERO experience because im pretty and pure of heart
