...had a wicked headache last night so that's why I didn't post. Been doing a lot of Photoshop-related tomfoolery as of late, which in practice means I'm staring at a computer monitor 24/7, so I guess I had to pay the price for that at some point. On that note, regarding the lack of direction within my graphic design course: I think I've got that all figured out by now. Key word being think, because if you ask me I still don't really know what I'm doing.

...that's pretty much it for good news, which means it's time I address the bad: things are still worsening with Grandma. Mom called today and said she rush-ordered a one-way ticket back to Ontario to go see her. She just got back and yet her flight leaves tomorrow. This whole ordeal has just left me without the ability to care about any of it. Every day could be her last but at the same time she's going to live for like another six months. It's all so tiresome.

...now listening: "Blue" by The Jesus Lizard. A sonic documentary of a once-mighty post hardcore band from the early 1990s falling off hard by the end of the decade. Incredibly lame "mainstream" radio rock that sounds nothing like their years on Touch & Go, or even this album's direct predecessor "Shot". Only "Cold Water" and "Postcoital Glow" are worth saving from this pile of rubbish...avoid at all costs.
