just went on a shit date

was talking to some local guy on insta on like my irl main account and he was like friends of friends and was kinda of a hick but its wyoming so everyone is and he asked me if i wanted to go to some mexican joint and i agreed, and he picked me up from my house and he was very awkward, barely made any small talk but he said "this is my first ever date with a guy....." huh??? since when was this a date??? i thought this was just supposed to be a hang out?? i just sat there and nodded my head, mind you hes 18, (or 19 i think? idk hes done with highschool tho) also his truck was dirty and he also just had a thing of condoms out in the open on his dashboard 

but i didnt say anything and we finally got to the mexican place and bro he wasnt making any fucking small talk, i just sat there talking to myself practically, and the food comes and its pretty meh, drinks were good, the waitress didnt come back until like 15 mins later and he said he would pay for all of it, he pays in cash but doesnt leave any fucking tip?? this mexican joint is like a family-owned place too

and on the ride back home and he was like "so.... uh you wanna come back to my place?" no??? istg the hookup scene in my town is so awful cuz its so small and everyone knows everyones business, and at least be blunt with it instead of wasting my time, and I said no and he asked why and i just said i was tired and he was salty asf and dropped me off at the corner of my neighborhood instead of right at my house 

at least i got a to-go box of my burrito that i can eat tonight so somewhat worth it?
