Why is finding third spaces so hard as a teen now? Based off what i’ve seen and heard, there used to be so many cool places where teens could be teens and not pay “billiooooons” of dollars.
Near where I live, every single place has a curfew for teens and the places that do not have the curfews don’t like kids all together.
The movies are expensive as frick now, Malls are dying, Activities like skating, bowling, painting, etc aren’t popular anymore.
A lot of my generation is messy too, not all but you get the point.. like sorry maybe I don’t want to get drunk and flirt with guys at a car meet with 1000 strangers???
Then adults ask why i’m stuck to a screen, I don’t have anything else to do!
I wish we didn’t have to try so hard to find a place to hang out and just be idk teens..
I wasn’t conscious enough to remember music stores but gosh i’d love to walk into a store and play a cd demo in my free time.
I think it’s unfair that existing in public spaces with your friends is viewed as something bad now unless I want to pay $50 for like 20 minutes of games!!!!

I 100% agree to this!! I can't even go hang out at parks without random people looking at me like me and my friends are gonna vandalize something.
Exactly!! I can’t go anywhere without there being some type of rule or somebody judging!
