Life Update + Random Musings 08/22/2026

...some random kid tried to start beef with me on TF2 today. Dude had a 51:144 K:D so he had zero place to talk shit but there he was challenging me to a Spy duel, which ended with me thoroughly kicking his ass. I haven't mained Spy in literal years but as it would seem I haven't lost a step. Also, I think the Enforcer is his best revolver. Statistically speaking it isn't but I find it way easier to hit shots with it than all his other revolvers.

...stayed up all night watching Nirvanna the Band the Show with my dad. He was pretty resistant to the show at first but then I offhandedly mentioned it was filmed in Toronto and that seemed to change something. He laughed so hard at Matt's "you're Kramer!" bit in The Booking and was outright losing it by the time they were driving the float in The Bean. 

...listening to right now: "Girls Only" by ESPRIT. I'm not a girl but I'm really enjoying this [laugh track goes here]. George Clanton is one of my GOATs and I think he does a wonderful job of blending vaporwave with pop music, although this EP leans heavily towards the former. All these really unsung classics of the genre are here (even though opener "Daydream" really isn't unsung, in fact its probably one of his most well-known tracks). It sounds like the last few days of summer. Fitting because September's in a few days.

...oh and speaking of TF2: I got 10,000 kills on my Strange Shotgun today. I can't remember how long I've had that thing but it's probably my favorite Soldier secondary. Just so consistent and fun to use.
