living in a small town is not for the weak

so I wanna start looking more androgynous just because... idfk I would feel better about myself? although I already know that when I go back to school people are gonna make fun of me and ask if im trans. (almost everyone here is transphobic+homophobic) 

I already am what they consider emo literally just because I have dyed hair and wear lots of bracelets. that doesnt bother me in itself but if I look emo AND don't entirely look like my assigned gender? I'd be the equivalent of a war crime to them.

anyway, if anyone has any tips for looking more androgynous plz let me know!!
