Lordy lord (rant)

So theres this dollar tree scholarship program thingy for 11th graders that my boss told me about and I was excited and told my mom but she js ranted about how college was useless nowadays ect ect the typical of her explaining of things like im sum dumbass with CTE who cant understand the world around me 

And I explained to her that Im saving up so i can afford college or university hence why I bothered to have a job at 16, and have it so where about half of my checks from work go into a saving account automatically and ive also been trying to qualify for scholarship related things at work and at school 

But she just kept on ranting and bitching about how unrealistic I am (if it wasnt for the fact she is a high school drop-out who hasnt had a job in over 20+ years and has no idea how taxes or money works which she just leaves all to my dad to handle then I wouldve taken her advice more seriously) and then she hits me with 

"Have you tried praying?" 

Wow thanks, wonderful advice as always, really helps me, why not just pray all my issues away instead of doing anything about them
