This seems deep but, do you sometimes feel like you're losing the reason of doing something? First. You start doing something with a strong motive but then it just... fades. Now you left with this hobbies or empty goal with no reason. Or sometimes you complete the goal, but you still don't feel good enough. Because the thought that someone will always be better than you drives you insane. The human need for comfort and satisfaction is a dark feeling that no one can avoid. Just some people can hide it better. But I think those who hide it better, strive for it the most. Don't let it consume you, jut let it walk beside you.

Oh yeah, absolutely. I would argue that this feeling, though I lack the word to encompass it in its entirety, makes up the most of my every day activities. Even though they are meaningful. I feel that it's often for no direct or real purpose. Every action low-key increasingly feels purposeless. But I found whatever this feeling is, has given me a lot more freedom to embrace life. It can only be a win-win, just depends from what angle you look at it!

and yeah I've felt like this for a while now, I do what I do but I'm not really sure why anymore, i don't do it for my family, friends, or even myself but some part of me thinks its what she might have wanted for me so I trudge through life for now
Yep this is exactly what I feel. I don't feel like I'm doing it for myself anymore. But just for the sake of doing it, a desperate attempt of feeling some type of dopamine.
