Mark 3 — A New Beginning

Hey everyone! :)

Well, here we go again! Today marks the official restart of my Mark 3 2006 lifestyle project, and I'm looking forward to seeing where this takes me.

For those who don't know, I've been working on a personal challenge to bring the everyday feeling of 2006 into my life here in 2026. Not just the clothes, the old technology, or the nostalgic look, but the actual lifestyle — the music, the games, the internet, the hobbies, and the little everyday things that made that time feel special.

My earlier attempts taught me something important. I don't want this to turn into a costume or a checklist of things I have to do just to make everything look old-school. I want it to be practical. I want to actually LIVE it.

That's what Mark 3 is all about.

I'm going to focus on making the internet feel more personal again, enjoying my favorite music and video games, exploring older websites, and spending more time doing things because I genuinely enjoy them. I'm also working on bringing that old YouTube spirit into my own project, Wade's World, with gaming videos, reviews, and whatever else I feel inspired to create.

And yes, that means getting back into the world of Wii gaming, old-school game reviews, and the kind of homemade videos that remind me of the early days of YouTube. There's a lot I want to explore!

Of course, it's 2026, and I'm not going to pretend modern life doesn't exist. I've still got responsibilities, relationships, and everyday things to take care of. The idea is to find a way to bring the best parts of 2006 into the life I have today.

I want this to be about the experience, not just the aesthetic.

So, today is Day One of the Mark 3 restart. A fresh beginning, a better plan, and another chance to get this right.

Here's to the music, the games, the old internet, and making everyday life feel a little more personal again.

Welcome back to Project 2006.

Talk to you all soon!

— Wade
