memories

I remember back in 7th grade when there was a rumor that a school shooting was going to happen at my school. I went to class that day because I thought it was just a prank or something; lessons were going on as usual until we heard the sound of a "gunshot" coming from the 9th-grade classroom, followed by screaming. My classmate froze and started crying,poor thing,while my instinct, and everyone else's, was to dive under the desks for cover. The teacher tried to calm us down and went to check what was happening. it turned out the 9th graders had cooked up a "prank" to stage a fake school shooting. The school coordinator was actually in their classroom teaching at the time when they started throwing chairs against the walls and screaming. I almost cried that day.
