misandry vs misogyny

i HATE when guys say that misandry and misogyny are the same BC LIKE NO THEY'RE NOT misogyny has a long history of men abusing women and doing disgusting things to them while misandry is the reaction to the acts of misogyny. in the world men are so favored over woman so its reasonable for women to hate their oppressors but men hating women isnt. and another thing i keep seeing that im gonna mention here bc its like kinda in the same category is when women say men and women should have equal rights and mens reaction is "oh so we can hit you now?" LIKE BRO WHY IS HITTING WOMEN THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF? HOW ABT WE JUST DONT HIT PPL LIKE IT RLY CANT BE THAT HARD.
