Monster Energy Cake (bread) !!! Journal entry (3) 7.9.2026

Insomnia hit me again like always. I was chatting around with my friends on this website the whole night, shoutout to you guys :)! Anyway today I couldn’t go skate again because of this stupid weather. I then suddenly got the idea of making a cake with some Monsters I have still left in my fridge. I then made up my own recipe so here’s how to make it:

Ingredients

 1 can (16 fl oz) Monster Energy Drink (Original of any flavor)

 3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

 4 large eggs

 4 teaspoons baking powder

 ¾ teaspoon salt

 1 large lemon (zested and juiced; you'll need 1 ½ tablespoons of the juice)

How to make it: 

1) Preheat your oven to 350°F (180 c). Grease a large 9x13-inch metal or glass baking pan.

2) Then in a large mixing bowl, whisk together the 3 ¾ cups flour (450 grams), 4 teaspoons baking powder, and ¾ teaspoon salt.

3) After that get a separate bowl and beat the 4 eggs until smooth. Pour in the whole can of Monster, the 1 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice, and all of the lemon zest. Whisk to combine.

4) Now pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir it gently with a spoon or spatula. Pour into your pan and bake at 350°F  (180 c) for 50 to 55 minutes. It’s done when the top is golden and a toothpick inserted right in the center comes out clean.

Overall I didn’t really like the cake if you can even call it cake. It’s more like a sweet bread. So yeah go try it for yourself if you want
