monster inc. (2001) ruined my childhood

 as a kid i really hated this movie because of mike wazowski. my maiden name is polish so it has the "ski" at the end, and growing up every time my last name was said out loud the kids would make fun of me and call me mike wazowski. it was so unoriginal and i hated it so much. to this day if its brought up for whatever reason i get those comments. it adds nothing to the conversation. why say it? it just makes me feel bad for something i couldn't control.

obviously i don't blame the movie entirely, but i would've had a better life if it wasn't. i was relentlessly bullied for a plethora of things, this is one that i think about often because i genuinely didn't get it. 

i also dislike the brand "kawasaki" for this same reason.
