Honestly, being on the internet today is making me so fucking misanthropic 💀. We went from the Web 2.0 era where people actually made shit, wrote blogs, customized profiles, joined forums, uploaded random videos, and actually participated in the internet… to every damn feed being AI-generated slop shoved in my face every five minutes.
I miss when the internet felt like a place people went to, instead of an algorithm constantly trying to figure out what it can feed me next. Technology was supposed to make life more connected and creative, and somehow we ended up with endless scrolling, engagement bait, AI bullshit, and everyone fighting for attention.
Maybe I'm just turning into the grumpy 2006 guy yelling at the clouds, but honestly… I kinda understand him now. 😭
