musicianship class👎👎👎 8-8-2026

i’m taking a musicianship class in school cause i thought it would be fun to learn how to make songs and music theory and everything behind the making of a song- but my bad right? because we haven’t learned SHIT. the teacher is also a band teacher- the conductor and he’s a professional at what he does which is cool but he hasn’t actually TAUGHT us anything besides the names of certain equipment. i don’t know how to make a song or what chord progressions are good to use when and where?? he’s just throwing projects at us THAT WE HAVE TO PRESENT and they sound like MUFFLED GARBAGE BECAUSE WE DON’T KNOW WHAT WE’RE DOING. and the other half the students in the class are band kids who already have a lifetime of musical experience and sit at their table like some cliche cool kid group and TALK THE WHOLE TIME SO I CANT EVEN HEAR WHAT IM WORKING ON. i hate it. i cant switch out of the class either because my school schedule change policies suck so i’m stuck in the class for the whole year. lovely..
