My bf is joining the marines

I DO NOT want him to. But I know that it's something he really wants to do and will hopefully make him happy (I guess?). He wants to go into the infantry, which SUCKS.

If anyone can tell me things to ease my mind or share their experience with loved ones going into the military, I'd love for you to share!

(my ex was in the army so idk what my luck is with military men...?!)
