You know the stereotypes of mechanics lying about what is wrong with your vehicle, or over exaggerating how rough something is. My boss, when he hired me told me he doesn’t wanna screw anyone over and that his priority was to be kind and honest, bullshit, old woman comes in tells him moneys tight and she’s on a fixed income and that, she’s in for a flat tire repair, she makes it clear that she’s tight this month but will pay what she needs for the vehicle to be safe. Sadly the tire wasn’t repairable and she needed a new one. Technically yes when you get a tire it’s recommend to get them in pairs on single axle vehicles like hers but not required he lied told her it was all wheel drive and made it seem like she wasn’t going to make it home without 4 new tires. 30 dollar flat repair turned into 800 dollar 4 tire job and 180 dollar alignment. Yes she agreed to it but he didn’t need to take advantage like that.
