My day

Today was so fun! i wore a cute outfit that i actually felt comfortable in; a navy blue bubble skirt and a polka-dot vest with a cute cardi and legwarmers. it was such a girly outfit, i felt so myself in it. often, i think im too tall to seem girly. this time, it didnt feel like i was a man in a dress, you know?

I met my bestfriend floss for lunch, a little lunch date at the pub her grandad used to own. it was renovated and super cute! we sat in a private little nook with really sticky chairs (ew..), and just has a good old chat! 

she got a pepperoni pizza and i got a pasta alfredo! it was so delicious and cheesy i was in looove. does anyone else put lots of salt and pepper on whatever they eat? it aways makes it taste better, even if its already seasoned.

it worked out really cheap, too. we got a drink afterwards and sat in the garden in the shade. it was so nice to speak and spend time with my bestfriend when friendships have been uncertain. even while other things are shaky, me and her are still steady, and thats really nice!! makes me feel safe.

now, i'm watching barbie rapunzel. my dvd collection is so adorable. the soundtrack to this movie genuinely gives me flashbacks to when i was a little girl. when i was younger, barbie rapunzel and barbie as the pearl princess were always my favourites-- and rock n royals, ofc.

theres so much comfort in letting myself be childish. its freeing to obsess over princesses and magic again. 

i also did my nails last night! nail art is something im really passionate about, and i even filmed the process. im debating editing it and posting it to youtube... might be something i dont tell people about though (aside from you guys ofccc)

me and floss made plans to catch a bus into another town to do charity chopping this wednesday. i'll tell you how it goes. now.... back to barbie.
